Food porn is everything you think it sounds like — a highly addictive guilty pleasure. And with Singapore being known for her wide variety of food, it’s no surprise that many have taken to documenting their local food experiences on Instagram. Daniel has 156,000 followers on Instagram, and it’s really not a surprising number at all. What makes him stand out from the rest is his clever use of the video function on Instagram to capture subtle movements of sizzling meat, dripping syrup, and runny egg yolks that serve to tempt and tantalise. Still images will definitely not be able to achieve that same level of enticement.
2. @ieatishootipost
Dr. Leslie Tay is the man behind this Instagram account, along with its award-winning food blog. He doesn’t just enjoy all the amazing food you see, though — he is also an author, blogger, photographer and speaker. His Instagram account features both local food and international cuisine, and he provides links to recipes on his Facebook page as well.
And with a following of 29,000, I’m guessing we’re not just addicted to his food pictures, but eager to try out his recipes as well.

3. @rubbisheatrubbishgrow
This Instagram account is full of pictures and reviews, both of which are also posted on their blog. Their blog won the best food blog in Asia in 2014, and I say they deserve it — not just for posting mouth-watering pictures of the best food in Singapore, but for providing honest reviews, and including locations and price ranges too.
Its owners even visited 53 chicken rice stalls last year just to find the best chicken rice in Singapore — I’d probably get sick doing that, so kudos to them. If you’re mainly into Singaporean food, this food porn account is perfect for you.
4. @sgfoodonfoot
Perfect for the lazy foodie, this Instagram account focuses on local food that are easily accessible. The owner, Derrick Tan, says on his Instagram bio that he blogs about “food experience(s) near MRT stations”.
His blog even has tabs categorising food places according to their locations along the Circle line, East-West line, and more — making our next food hunting trip a much more convenient one.
5. @miss_neverfull
This young student, Melody Ju, has over 8000 followers on Instagram. It’s not hard to see why: she pays close attention to the details of the food she photographs, and her pictures are artistic and sophisticated. They’re not just confined to Singaporean food too; she creates food porn wherever she travels.

Another young lady, Nicole Poi, posts all kinds of food porn on her Instagram account — from homemade instant noodles and McDonald’s breakfasts, to chocolate souffle and ribeye steaks.
She makes everything look absolutely delectable, and it’s always refreshing to see food porn that isn’t extravagant.
7. @cuisineparadise
Ellena Guan, the lady behind this food porn account, posts pictures of home-cooked food made from recipes she came up with on her own. From Asian cuisine to Western bakes, she shares her recipes on her blog as well.
She also does food reviews and travelogues, and makes the effort to include recipes as much as possible. Her Instagram account shows you how to have your cake, and eat it too.

If you like desserts or sweets in your food porn, this Instagram account is a must-follow. Ng Li Tian is the photographer behind this account, and focuses mainly on Singaporean and Japanese food.
A quick scroll through this Instagram feed and I was salivating. Japanese food? Mouth-watering desserts? How did I become so weak? I followed.
10. @thechosenglutton
As his Instagram name suggests, Edsmond eats a lot — a lot of heavenly-looking food, that is. His food porn account captures a little bit of everything — which is great for gluttons who like a large variety.
He includes a fair bit of foreign food porn on his feed as well, which adds a touch of novelty that makes his account worth a follow.
