The campaign #UberIceCream will be running simultaneously in over 250 cities around the globe this Friday, July 24. Uber Malaysia is participating in the campaign for the first time, and what makes the campaign outstanding is the numbers of local flavours they offer.
Uber Kuala Lumpur is partnering with Inside Scoop and their vehicles will hit the roads from 1-9pm, the flavours consist of Chocolate Valrhona , Teh Tarik, and Mango Lassi. Uber Penang has partnered up with Kochabi, to serve traditional ice cream potong compiled with feelings of nostalgia with flavours ranging from durian, mango, and red bean. As for Uber Johor Bahru, users will be offered ice cream from Scoop Bar.
I Want Ice Cream!
All you need to do is to download the app from the Google Play Store or iTunes (if you haven’t already), slide right to the “Ice Cream” icon and tap “Set Pickup Location”. Once you do that, if an #UberIceCream vehicle is in the vicinity, get ready because they will deliver your Ice Cream in minutes.
Users will have 2 options to choose from in the Uber app—‘Ice Cream’, which is priced at RM20 per serving of 3 cups of ice cream; and the ‘Ice Cream+SWAG’ option, which will include ice cream and exclusive Uber merchandise, priced at RM25.
As for users in Penang and Johor Bahru, you will be charged RM25 for each ice cream delivery, and this will come together with exclusive Uber merchandise.
Also, as part of a sign-up drive, Uber is offering the promo code ICECREAMKL for new users in KL to enjoy 1 free ride worth RM20. If you’re based in Penang and Johor Bahru, just key in the promo code UBERICECREAMPG and UBERICECREAMJB, respectively to enjoy 1 free ride worth RM25.
