Online forums are popular platforms for you to search for answers to questions Google cannot help you with.  Forums such as HardwareZone, SGForums and VRForums in Singapore, Lowyat in Malaysia, and Kaskus in Indonesia has seen millions of visitors every month searching for information they need.

Global forums such as Yahoo Answers as well as Quora has also rode this wave to success.

What about Vietnam? Have you ever wondered why do you not see Vietnamese being active on online forums?

Truth is, Vietnamese do not actively participate that much on online forums.

When asked why are Vietnamese not active on one of the world’s most popular Q&A site Quora, here are some responses provided:

Most of them seem to agree that confidence in their English command is hindering their involvement in global discussions.
