The frustration of searching for parking is a real first world problem, especially if you’re sick. If you’re looking for a parking lot while on the way to the clinic, or even if you’re just visiting someone in the hospital, it can be a gruelling task.

The peeps from MyDoc.my, a medical startup that provide patients with extensive information about listed medical/healthcare service providers are well aware of this hassle and they feel your pain. In an attempt to minimise and remove some burden on this matter, MyDoc.my and ParkAide are collaborating in social contribution to deliver a better healthcare experience.

How To View Parking Bays In Real-Time

When searching for clinics and specialists on the MyDoc.my site, you will be able to see a red colour button at the bottom left corner of the map which says “Show Nearby Carpark”. After you tap on the button, the pointer will show you the real-time number of available parking bays on the map. To view more information of a specific car park such as the parking rate, just simply tap on each marker.

According to a research done by ParkAide, a typical driver spends 106 days of his life searching for parking spots. Therefore, this collaboration is definitely a praiseworthy one.

Apart from easing the problem of trying to find parking on the streets, we also won’t have to spend extra time in searching for parking when making a trip to the clinic. Meanwhile, this new feature is only available on desktop at the moment because the team is still in the midst of updating their mobile app.

MyDoc.my was named as one of the finalists of The Rice Bowl Startup Awards. While ParkAide is a mobile phone application especially designed for your parking convenience.
