Here are 10 co-working spaces around Klang Valley that every professional nomad will gladly enjoy.

1. White Space

White Space is the right fit for professional nomads who are looking for privacy while they work. Suitable for the corporate-like beings, White Space has 4 branches around Klang Valley and each space varies from the other in terms of design and functionality. Yet what is unmistakeable for all 4 lots is its signature white space in at least one of their areas. White Space is located in Bangsar, Solaris Mont Kiara, Puchong, and Qliq Damansara.

The Bangsar branch has black chairs lining a long table for those who prefer hot desking.

To hold small meetings, you can opt to head to the Solaris Mont Kiara outlet, where they even have a comfortable lounge area with a television so you can enjoy some downtime during lunch hour.

The casual workaholics can head to the Qliq Damansara branch that has a more casual and colourful vibe to take your mind off of the stresses of work.

The Puchong branch has a executive room for meetings and discussions, and for bigger companies, there is also a training room available.

2. Impact Hub

Impact Hub is a refreshing co-working space that occasionally hosts events as well. The reason why they label themselves as an inspiring space is because of their Impact Gallery that actually showcases the works of social entrepreneurs, designers and artists. They are currently featuring among others, Urbanify and Biji Biji Initiative.

The co-working space itself follows the hot desking style and as Impact Hub notes on their website, you just never know who you might sit next to.

They have a colorful display at the entrance that would ignite the creativity of those who choose to work here.

The co-working space itself is reminiscent of a board meeting table and for those who choose to work on a desk, they can easily hot desk a spot. However, for those who choose to work on beanies, they can choose to do so as well.

3. Fluent Space

Fluent Space hosts two spaces, one in Plaza Taragon, Kelana Jaya, and the other in TTDI. The TTDI outlet caters more towards the creative bunch and the space has a more nature-inspired appeal to it. They have several anchor tenants inclusive of B.L.A.M and The Wknd. It has a home-like vibe to it, and there is even a cool area outdoors complete with trees, for those who want to just clear their mind.

Fluent Space’s Taragon outlet is the most complete co-working space of the pair, and it offers meeting/conference rooms along with event facilities. As for the meeting rooms, they are free for use but are subject to availability. Other facilities that the space offers upon request include projector screens and printing services.

4. Makespace

Makespace describes themselves as a playground for creators and rightfully so. The vibes that they give off in their space makes working fun. They even have a flexible stage which is used during events and workshops that they hold. Makespace is known for the events that they host including dance workshops, tech talks and workshops.

Essentially the winning aspect of Makespace is its abundance of wide space which makes it a suitable co-working area for even larger companies.

Wooden chairs and desks also allows Makespace to become a casual area to meet up for chatting and working.

5. Paper + Toast

Paper + Toast is located within the MaGIC building itself and follows the concept of hot desking. They also have a meeting room available for use, and like their name suggests, they do have meals too. Among those who have tried this co-working space out are professionals from Petronas and Hong Leong.

Paper + Toast is also ideal for newer startups that do not own an office space yet, but wish to still have a physical place where they can have a business address and a landline number.

Paper + Toast knows that without fuel for the brain, work would become more draggier and less productive, hence they host a selection of meals inclusive of pastries and burgers.

6. The Co. 

Working at The Co. is akin to working at home simply because it is essentially a bungalow that’s been converted into a co-working space. It also has a Scandinavian appeal to it with wooden desks adorning most of the space, and black and white tiles on the ground.

Events are held here as well, be it corporate and tech events or even lifestyle ones like yoga classes. Some of the startups which has given the space a go are Zomato and ServisHero.

One of The Co.’s standout area to work at would be the window seat which makes working all the more fun as you recline and enjoy the comfort and view.

Alternatively, there are many areas to hot desk at The Co. and it totally depends on your style, be it sitting, standing or even reclining.

7. The Canvas Network

The Canvas Network is a co-working space that screams fun when it comes to play, but is legit enough that you will find yourself putting in a little bit of elbow grease as well at work. The Canvas Network has a more industrial like appeal and exposed piping are smartly utilised as decor. The pool and ping pong table also serves as a healthy lunch break distraction.

8. H Space

H Space is fairly new to the co-working space scene but they have eased their way into the market nicely by providing a clean and sleek space that boasts professionalism. Located in Menara Mitraland, Kota Damansara, the aim of H Space is to connect small businesses with creative freelancers.

H Space would appeal to those who want a non-nonsense place to work and in fact, the only “distraction” is a little snooze zone so when you feel a little drowsy at work, you could always grab a little shuteye with the company mascot, Henry.

9. InCube8

InCube8 is a co-working space that is well-equipped what with its virtual office, serviced office, meeting and training rooms. They also offer admin, accounting and secretarial services. Essentially, they market themselves as being a more affordable alternative to a purchased or rented office space, and they also have the services to match an actual office.

Among the other services, they offer are a lounge area, vending machine, fridge, pantry, smoking area, free flow of coffee and even a tea lady.

10. Unit.my

Talk about a co-working space that meets all your needs. Unit.my has a spacious unit for work, but they also have a gym and pool as well. It caters to the professional nomads who are looking for a unit to rent and would be suitable for those who are working round the clock to finalise business deals or are building a startup from scratch and want to get away from other distractions. At Unit.my, you can focus solely on work – and perhaps a little weight lifting too.
