One of the most shared news earlier this week by mainstream media outlets included the news of Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong hitting his one millionth “likes” on his Facebook page.

According to Parrot, a tool that tracks all the viral articles in Singapore, the article coverage by TODAY Online received over 11,000 total number of Facebook likes, shares and comments on social media.

Undeniably, taking great photos had been essential in helping PM Lee engage with his fans and fellow Singaporeans. He even used a photo to share his “1 million likes” milestone.

It is probably a known fact that PM Lee is using an iPhone to capture his photos, as he shared during his live chat with Facebook users.

If you are not convinced, we took a look at some of the photos taken of PM Lee and his iPhone, and we are pretty confident that it is an iPhone 6S:

Here are some other photos taken by PM Lee, presumably through his phone:

It really does look like the iPhone is a great companion to PM Lee.

According to a report from The Straits Times, Apple continues to dominate Singapore’s smartphone market as of August 2015, shipping the most number of phones here. The data is obtained from market research firm IDC, which stated that Apple accounted for 38 per cent of the 1.1 million smartphones shipped to Singapore, compared with Samsung’s 26 per cent share.

What phones are you using? We’d love to hear from you about them on the comments below!
