If you are new to Apple Watch, here are some great tips from the Team at Apple to make the full use of your Apple Watch:

Wirefree Workouts
Sync a playlist to Apple Watch so it’s available offline for an iPhone free, cable-free liberating workout. Just you and your Bluetooth headphones.

Calibrate your Apple Watch
Calibrate your Apple Watch to improve the accuracy of your distance and pace measurements when GPS isn’t available. Just workout with your iPhone for 20mins first and Apple Watch will calibrate its accelerometer to learn your stride length at different speeds. Next time you’re using the treadmill, Apple Watch will track your distance as if you were running outside.

Get a good fit
The sensors on the back of Apple Watch measure your heart rate by flashing green LED lights hundreds of times per second into your wrist. The amount of green light that’s absorbed by the red blood flowing through your wrist allows Apple Watch to calculate your heart rate. A snug comfortable fitting band results in the most consistent and accurate heart rate reading. You can check your heart rate over time in the Health app on your iPhone, and choose from 16 different Sport Band colors to look as good as you feel.

Find your iPhone using Apple Watch
Can’t find your iPhone? Bring up the Settings glance and ping your iPhone, even if it’s set to silent.
