Recently, we published an article on how tech companies are dominating the job industry in terms of value and attractiveness, and one of the main highlights of these companies is their absolutely ogle-licious offices right here in Singapore, where trees grow and the magic happens.

So what is it about an open office concept that makes it so popular, aside from the fact that they just so darn Instagram-worthy?

A Dynamic Work Culture

An open office space facilitates communication, and what’s easier than being able to simply reach out and tap someone’s shoulder? It can be extremely convenient and not to mention, productive, being able to learn from one another in a shared space.

Open offices engage people, getting them involved in a place where they boost each other up.

Discussion is not bounded or restricted but rather, alive.

While not every company is eager to jump onto the open office bandwagon, lobbying against having too much freedom, there is no shortage of these creative spaces around Singapore.

And so here we introduce the newest addition on our list of top contenders for dynamic offices in Singapore – the YCo.

Not Just Another Pretty Face

Already up and running, the YCo is a workspace space brimming with energy and vibrancy while being home to some of Singapore’s top names in the online and digital lifestyle world.

The learning journey is not something that should be restricted by boundaries, and that freedom is something that the YCo takes very seriously… in a fun and natural way of course.

Working In Style, With Just A Little Dash Of Old-School Goodness

Jokes aside though, here at the YCo, people really do take their work seriously. When it’s time to crack down and put their thinking caps on, they do so with class and sophistication.

And yet when you might need a change in environment, you will not find yourself short.

The quaint checkered blue design is a throwback to when you grew up at HDB void decks, building dreams and castles in the sky together with your friends.

Society moves at a mind-boggling speed now and this can be stifling on our minds. So it is also important to know when to take a step back, and at the same time catch up with the local fun happenings around town with the friend sitting over by the beanbags.

They’re currently looking at expanding this play-pit of learning, so if you decide that you want to hang around and contribute your own unique brand of energy, do let them know!

They are always looking for more enterprising individuals who can inject new energy into YCo, so feel free to drop them a message at hello@yco.io.

Ps. Did we mention that Vulcan Post’s Mission Control Centre is also based in the YCo? So, if you decide to come by, we might just be your future lunch / take-over-the-world buddies!
