If there’s one thing people associate with December, it’s holidays.
The end of the year brings in three things for us to look forward to—festive food, awesome sales, and long weekends off for us to enjoy some time with loved ones.
We know about booking the best rates for flights for holidays through special fairs and promos, but there’s often an expense we forget: travelling to the airport.
There’re alternatives like buses but you have to go to the hassle of getting to the specific place. On-demand ride sharing services have been growing in popularity, but they aren’t always as affordable.
So What’s An Affordable Yet Convenient Option?
To cut down the cost on getting to the airport, Grab has prepared an offer that can save users a few bucks this holiday season.
From December 7 to 31, GrabCar is offering an RM20 discount for trips to or from KLIA and KLIA2.
To be eligible for this offer, you just need to book a GrabCar ride to KLIA with their rates of RM65 per journey. Once that’s done, you’ll be entitled to 2 x RM10 promo codes that will be sent to you via SMS within 48 hours.
Do keep in mind however that should you choose to apply the code during your return trip from the airport, you will not be entitled to receive another 2 x RM10 promo code as this is considered a promotional airport ride.
The promo codes are given upon completion of non-promo rides for both KLIA and KLIA2 and are valid until 7 January 2017. You can find out more here.
But What If I’m Not Going To KLIA?
Calm down guys, Grab hasn’t forgotten about you.
Until December 31, if you’re from the Penang, Kota Kinabalu or Johor Bahru area where GrabCar is now operating in, you can book a ride to and from your city’s airport at a 50% discount which is up to RM15. This discount also applies to Melaka Sentral as well!
At the moment, this offer is limited to 1000 redemptions per day.
So instead of scratching your head looking at the different cheap options when going to the airport, Grab’s offer gives you the leeway of focusing instead on what you should be bringing to your vacation trip, because they’ve got you covered.
