Back in 1959, Emirates Group started with just 5 staff members on ground control services at the Dubai International Airport.

The airline’s growth included opening new routes to countries, gaining sponsorship agreements and it was the first airline to offer scheduled A380 flights to London Gatwick airport.

Last year, they got the top spot for the best In-Flight Entertainment during the Skytrax World Airline Awards—the 12th consecutive win for Emirates.

They were also recently awarded the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards for the ‘Best Airline in the World’.

As a fast-growing airline with an eye on continued expansion, Emirates is currently running a series of pilot recruitment roadshows.

The Emirates Group is currently on a lookout for individuals who:

  • Are experienced and trained commercial pilots
  • Want to pilot more international routes
  • Are interested in exploring Dubai

In their upcoming roadshow, they are offering interested pilots a chance to learn more about their company’s recruitment process, training plans, as well as the new freighter pilot contract.

Some of their benefits include:

  • A competitive tax-free salary
  • Medical and dental insurance
  • 42 days of annual leave
  • Company accommodation

One caveat: employees will be based in Dubai.

The minimum requirements differ if you want to apply as a first officer or a captain and are as listed below:

Left, first officer requirements; right, captain requirements.

The roadshow will be held from July 8 to 9 at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, starting at 10am both days.

There will be 3 sessions in total but interested participants won’t be required to attend all 3 workshops—they only need to be present for one of three.

Prior registrations won’t be necessary as well but it’s always advisable to arrive earlier.

If applicants are unable to make it in, online applications are also possible and can be done through their website.
