You might be familiar with the saying, “The best camera is the one you have with you”.
For generations, this was a saying that photographers would have in their hearts as they lugged around their equipment everywhere they went. Today, the dawn of social media has made that statement even more apt, given that smartphones and their powerful cameras have since taken on the main role in creating everyday images.
For us, the Huawei P10 Plus definitely ranks up there with the best, and it could even be the king of the crop. We reviewed the phone when it was first launched and now some months later, it is still holding up well despite growing competition.
Attending Huawei’s masterclass made us love the P10 Plus even more after finding out the endless creative possibilities that it unlocks, thanks to professional photographer Richard Chen.
Huawei P10 Plus VS Samsung Galaxy S8+ Shootout
The sticking point for most consumers looking to purchase a new smartphone is definitely the quality of the camera and the images they produce. Let’s face it, the camera could possibly be that one and only feature that could influence the purchasing decision.
So, we got together with established local photographer Ashley Mak, to pit the Huawei P10 Plus against Android’s most popular device, the Samsung Galaxy S8+, in a head-to-head camera shoot out.
But here’s the catch – all these photos are unmarked and there’s a poll below at the end for you to vote which side has the better photos.
