Mobile marketplace Carousell has changed the way we buy and sell things now.

They also grew from being a platform for trading of goods and money, to becoming an all-rounded marketplace.

In recent months, they have been partnering up with others in the industry to expand their offerings and improve the app for users.

They are partners with OrangeTee & Tie, MoneySmart, and DBS so Carousellers can make payment, review property agents, and apply for loans or credit cards all in the app itself.

This time, they’re tying up with ShopBack, who recently acquired Seedly, to organise their ShopBack x Carousell World Cup Tournament Fair 2018!

The ShopBack x Carousell World Cup Tournament Fair 2018 will be happening on Sunday24 June, from 10am to 10pm, at the ShopBack office.

This event aims to bring football fans and gamers together, and present the chance to win up to $1,500 cash prizes in the FIFA 18 tournament.

It will be played on the Playstation 4 console and in a Two-legged + Penalty format.

They will also be hosting a mini-tournament for Super-Sidekicks 2 (1994 edition) for the Carousell retrogamers community where the winners will also win attractive prizes.

At 8pm, the organisers will screen the live match of England versus Panama.

Lunch and dinner will be provided, so stay on and chill out with beers, drinks, and great company while watching the World Cup.

This marks the first time ShopBack and Carousell are working together to co-organise a community event for FIFA 18 gamers and the retrogamers community, and is supported by Playstation Asia and Foodpanda.

Registration closes on 21 June, so register now to enjoy the early bird price of $8!
