In a statement released today (14 August), global gaming chair maker, Secretlab, announced their partnership with internationally-renowned eSports team, Team Secret to become their official chair partner.

Their tie-up also sees the two companies of the same namesake launch a line of special edition chairs called, Team Secret x Secretlab.

These specially-designed chairs are based off Secretlab’s award-winning OMEGA 2018 and TITAN models, and they are now available for purchase on Secretlab’s website.

Award-winning features such as the multi-tilt mechanism, four-directional armrests, and the velour memory-foam lumbar pillow and inbuilt lumbar support system are all part of this line of chairs.

This news comes as the popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) PC game, Dota 2 prepares for its most prestigious tournament, The International 2018 (TI8).

Team Secret is one of the Dota 2 pro-gaming teams to receive a direct invite to play in TI8, where the prize pool is expected to surpass last year’s amount of USD$24.7 million.

Ian Alexander Ang, Secretlab’s co-founder and CEO said they were proud “to provide Team Secret’s professional players with hours of seated comfort” especially their Dota 2 team as they ready themselves for TI8.

This is not the first time Secretlab has partnered with a professional Dota 2 team.

In May this year, the chair maker collaborated with Chinese team, Newbee, and previously in 2016, with the now-defunct Team Faceless which was led by Singaporean Daryl ‘iceiceice’ Koh.
