When it comes to food delivery services, while there’s no doubt that my colleagues and I love the convenience it provides (especially on rainy days), the delivery fee can be a deciding factor – especially when it’s split between fewer individuals.
Deliveroo today announced the launch of Deliveroo Plus, a new island-wide subscription service that grants users unlimited free delivery and exclusive discounts every month.
Priced at $10.90 a month, Deliveroo Plus’ rollout in Singapore comes after their success in markets like the UK, where trials saw 50% of customers saving $45 in the first two months, and one in ten customers saving over $135.
10% of the customers based in these customers are now subscribed to Deliveroo via the Plus service.

Deliveroo mentions in the press release that “more than half of Singapore’s food delivery app users order in more than three times a month”, and with Plus, they can get to save up to over $4 a month if they dine five times.
Subscribers will also get access to exclusive monthly promotions, and this will roll out gradually over the next few weeks.
