Apple will be opening its second store at Jewel Changi Airport on the 13th of July.
The the American tech giant officially broke the news on its Singapore website today, listing the timing of the grand opening at 10am.
In true Apple fashion not much else has been revealed, but you can count on the new outlet to offer the usual suite of services, including the full range of products, hardware/software support via the Genius Bar, and free hands-on classes on a variety of topics.
The announcement lists the store’s opening hours as 10am-10pm though, so you unfortunately won’t be able to take a crash course in app development while you wait for your 4am flight to Bali.
Apple currently has one store in Orchard Road, which was opened 2 years ago in May 2017. It was the first Apple Store in South-east Asia, and a second one has been built in Bangkok since then.
And while the second store isn’t even open yet, this certainly isn’t the only plan in the pipeline.
Rumours suggest that construction of a third store in Marina Bay Sands is already well underway (it’s hard to miss a “dome-like structure emerging from the water“), so we might have three Apple Stores in Singapore by the end of the year.
