Every tech firm out there seems to be building a super app.
Grab for one, wants to establish itself as more than just a ride-hailing firm as it builds on its ambition to be an “everyday super app”.
In April this year, Grab added trip planning, video streaming, movie and hotel booking features into its app.
Singapore-based MVNO Circles.Life has joined in on the super app game and introduced today a new ‘Discover Movies’ feature.
With this feature, you can discover, search and book movies at any cinema in just one app.
You can save your preferred cinemas, check the showtimes as well as the theatre’s capacity.
And if you have no idea what to catch, you can browse through the list of movies under ‘IMDb recommends’ based on the ratings of the movie.
Users need to update their Circles.Life app to be able to enjoy this feature, which is currently still in beta. It’s not clear when it will be officially rolled out to all users.
