We’ve been talking a lot about Huawei’s new Mate 30 series these past few weeks, but there’s been one big question that remains unanswered: when will the phone be available to the public?

Well, it turns out that you might be able to get your hands on Huawei’s newest flagship as early as this month, but you’re going to need a bit of luck too.

The Chinese tech giant has opened an online registration of Interest (ROI) for the Mate 30 Pro on their website, which will run from today (5th October) to the 15th of October at 11:59pm.

Huawei will then select 200 registrants at random, and email them from the 16th to 24th of October with an invitation to a private event where they can purchase the phone.

And as if being one of the exclusive few to own their newest flagship wasn’t enough, Huawei is also throwing in $463 worth of freebies to sweeten the deal even further.

This Includes a Mate 30 Pro Case ($48), 12,000 mAh Power Bank ($128), Wireless Car Charger ($98) and DJI OSMO Mobile 3 gimbal ($189), which is everything you’d need (and more) to get started with your new phone.

Through this ROI, we’ve also found out the price of the phone — the Mate 30 Pro (256GB Memory, 8GB RAM) will retail for $1,298, which is actually cheaper than Huawei’s other flagship phone, the P30 Pro ($1,398).

Completing the ROI form isn’t as simple as filling out your particulars and calling it a day, though — you’re going to have to answer a few questions about the Mate 30 Pro’s specs and features, the answers to which you can find in this article.

Equipped with top-tier hardware and being the first in Huawei’s catalogue to come without Google Mobile Services, the Mate 30 Pro is one of — if not the — most interesting smartphones of 2019.

The company has done everything in their power to make it as attractive a product as possible, and only time will tell if they’ll end their so-far stellar year on a high note.
