Last year, Grab announced the discontinuation of its ‘Commute’ and ‘All-Access’ subscription plans on 16 December 2020.

Following that, Grab notified users today on a new “personalised” subscription plan that is available to selected users.

Previously, Grab mentioned that it wants to better curate its subscription plans and offer “more tailored” choices based on user behaviour and their evolving needs.

Called the ‘Daily Value Plan’, it aims to help users save more on ‘everyday’ services like Grab rides and food delivery.

For S$16/month, users can get 15% off 10 Grab rides (capped at S$4 each) and free delivery on five GrabFood orders (with a minimum order of S$12).

Do take note that the Grab ride vouchers are valid on all rides except GrabTaxi, GrabShuttle, GrabHitch, GrabCoach and GrabWheels.

According to Grab, these perks can help users to save as much as S$19.

How To Purchase?

How does Grab subscription plans work?

To purchase, simply click on the ‘Subscription’ tab on the Grab app and choose from the available subscription plans.

After purchase, the set of vouchers will be instantly loaded on your Rewards page. They have a limited expiration date, so users must take note to use them within your billing cycle.

The plan will renew automatically every month, and fees will be promptly deducted from GrabPay Credits balance on the billing date.

If users have insufficient balance, Grab will send a top-up reminder two days before the billing date. If the attempt to renew is unsuccessful, Grab will place the plan “On Hold” for 48 hours, following which it will expire.

Should you wish to cancel the subscription, you can do so before the next billing date. You may continue using your vouchers until the date of expiry, even after cancelling your plan.

According to Grab, its subscription plans have a limited number of sign-ups. Once a plan is fully subscribed, they will no longer be available for new or re-subscription.

Regardless, Grab said it’s working hard to push out plans that best cater its users.

“We are in the process of developing and designing new plans to better serve your travel needs,” it added.
