From 31 January 2020, Singtel Wifi will no longer be available to new and existing Singtel customers who recontract.
This is to prepare for its Wifi service termination, which they are currently phasing out by 1 April 2020 for broadband users.
This Wifi service lets Singtel Combo plan subscribers enjoy around 2,000 access points islandwide for free. It’s much faster than free Wifi services like Wireless@SG and does not require a log-in.
According to Singtel, as they phase out this Wifi service, customers can continue to stream content via Singtel’s 4G network or on Wireless@SG hotspots.
Singtel currently has four Combo plans, priced from S$42.90 to S$239.90. Following the termination, the two mid-tier Combo plans will receive an extra 1GB of data a month.
For data-heavy users, Singtel also has XO plans with free data over weekends.
