As it will take some time before we see the results of the COVID-19 vaccine, going to crowded places is still risky. Groceries being a necessity means we will have to frequently make such purchases, but many apps now exist to do the shopping for us instead.

We compiled a list of 10 online grocery delivery apps you can opt to use for minimising that risk. These are not walk-in grocery stores like Jaya Grocer or Tesco, for example, but they do source from these stores or their own dark stores.

Dictionary Time: A dark store is generally a large warehouse that can either be used to facilitate a “click-and-collect” service, where a customer collects an item they have ordered online, or as an order fulfilment platform for online sales.

1. MyGroser

MyGroser is an online grocery delivery started by a founder who wanted to change the “unrewarding” experience of standard grocery shopping.

They have products ranging from fresh produce to meat and seafood, alcohol, toiletries, hampers, baked goods, pet food, etc.
