Homegrown brand Golden Moments has become a household name for durian desserts in Singapore.
The company was launched in 2017 with their very first product: Signature 100% Mao Shan Wang Snow Skin Mooncake. It was sold out within a month, garnering a six-figure digit for the company.
Over the years, Golden Moments has continued to push the envelope and unveiled different durian innovations, ranging from mooncakes, mochis, to pastry puffs.
Most recently, it has expanded its product portfolio further with the launch of its new premium Mao Shan Wang durian ice cream.
According to Golden Moments, the product development process of the ice cream took a total of two years, yielding hundreds of focus group taste tests before perfecting their ice cream recipe.
The handcrafted artisanal ice cream is made with 100 per cent natural ingredients without any artificial flavourings, incorporating fresh puree of Black Gold Mao Shan Wang durian from Pahang. Every scoop of it is definitely comparable to eating a fresh durian that is absolutely worth melting for.
As part of its marketing efforts, Golden Moments has released a heartwarming three-minute advertisement reel that is spearheaded by its creative director Jeanette Aw. She is involved in the writing and directing process, and the acting is also done by the actress herself.
“The film highlights the brand’s message to ‘treasure Golden Moments’. Very often, many of us get so caught up with work and family takes a backseat. Sometimes, the best present you can give your loved ones is time and accompaniment. Hopefully, this short film will be able to serve as a reminder to treasure your loved ones,” said Jeanette, who also serves as the brand ambassador of Golden Moments.
Golden Moments’ premium Mao Shan Wang durian ice cream is available in 100ml tubs at S$8.80 each. For now, customers can place their orders online via Golden Moment’s website.
From November 2021 onwards, it will also be sold at supermarkets, petrol kiosks and other retail partners islandwide.
