As part of its Epic 10th birthday celebrations, Lazada is throwing a mega birthday sale, where shoppers can expect exclusive product launches, fun games and activities, on top of amazing deals and discounts. 

Happening on March 27, Lazada’s Birthday Sale is giving away 10 free first-class flight tickets to the winners’ dream destination onboard Singapore’s national carrier, Singapore Airlines. 

This is something that will put anyone in high spirits, considering that most Singaporeans have been deprived of travelling for the past few years. 

So how can Lazada shoppers stand a chance to win these coveted air tickets? 

Put simply, shoppers can increase their chances of winning by collecting up to 27 ‘Golden Tickets’ via the Lazada app, and they must purchase something from Lazada on March 27 to qualify for the lucky draw.

These ‘Golden Tickets’ can also be earned by completing in-app tasks, such as playing the Lazzie Star game daily, achieving level milestones, and inviting new Lazada customers to play the game.

Get ready to shop till you drop

To count down to the sale, Lazada will also host a 10-hour nonstop livestream starting on March 26 at 2pm, which will allow shoppers to collect S$8,000 worth of vouchers and win attractive prizes. 

Many local personalities will also be joining the livestream, including radio DJ Joakim Gomez, TheSmartLocal talents Chiara Ang and Mandon Lee, as well as fashion and beauty influencer Rachell Lee.

If that doesn’t sound exciting enough, shoppers can also expect brands to tease new launches and top deals that are only available on March 27 itself. 

During the last hour of the livestream, Lazada’s Chief Discount Officer, Royce Lee, will also give shoppers a sneak peek of the deals that will go live at midnight so shoppers can have a better idea of what they should add to their cart.

Loyal fans who stay till the end of the livestream will also receive a S$10 shopping voucher, while stocks last, and Lazada will be starting their birthday with a grand offer for everyone — a storewide flash sale from 12 to 2 am, with more than 290 brands, including LEGO, Estee Lauder, Under Armour, and Nintendo.

Just as Lazada has been a groundbreaker in the e-commerce industry, Lazada has chosen to feature individuals who are all groundbreakers in their respective industries to be its ambassadors this year.

And in the spirit of celebrating groundbreakers, Lazada’s lineup this year will include singer-songwriter Linying, TikTok star and taekwondo champion Ng Ming Wei, as well as gaming and esports host Victoria Cheng. 

Lazada specifically selected these groundbreakers to reflect its own journey — to celebrate how everyone starts small, and has to strive to overcome great difficulty to get big and make their mark.   

You can also travel back in time on Lazada

Beyond the travel-to-anywhere grand prize, Lazada is also bringing every shopper on another kind of journey.

Available during this Birthday sale, it just launched a feature on its app that will take each and every shopper on a personalised journey back in time, showcasing highlights of the individual’s journey on Lazada.

Called the Lazada Time Machine, users will be able to view their unique shopper profiles, based on their shopping habits and purchase history on the platform. 

For instance, if you purchase lots of gadgets, you might be dubbed a tech wizard. Alternatively, if your wardrobe is full of clothes bought on Lazada, you might be a fashionista.

And it’s not just what you buy, but also when you buy it. A Night Owl shops between 12am to 2am, while a Sunset Sniper tends to spend the end of work day on Lazada.

The great news is that shoppers can stand a chance to unlock more rewards when they share their Time Machine profiles on social media during Lazada’s birthday period. 

What can you look out for on the actual day itself?

But as you’re probably wondering, what’s actually in store for you on Lazada’s Birthday itself? Here are just some of the exciting deals that you can expect on 27th March:
