If there’s one beautiful mobile app which caught our attention last weekend, that would be Travelog.
The website description reads: Travelog recommends the best travel blogs, deals and reviews catered to you.
Essentially, the mobile app allows you to discover places and inspirational moments from a community of travel lovers, get personalized travel recommendations to you, create your own travel profiles and bucket list, as well as discovering great travel deals all in one app.
Jointly started by Singapore based Robinson Park and a team of four, Travelog is made up of a community of avid travellers. Other than highlighting live entries and feeds from its users, Travelog also features some of the most active and creative travellers in its community on its homepage.
Other than Travelog, there are of course abundant of other websites and mobile app out there. We have also featured a few of them last week. The leader in the travel space is undeniably TripAdvisor, which reached its 100 million downloads milestone last week, making it one of the world’s most downloaded travel app.
What caught our attention for Travelog is its heavy focus on the community and the people on its platform. Other than being able to follow and connect with them, you are also able to curate your own bucket list and share your travel moments, sort of like Instagram for travel.
