Ryde mobile app AI
In this article

Ryde is growing from strength to strength. In April 2024, the Ride-Hailing startup was listed on the NYSE, and announced last Friday (May 17) that it has redesigned the Ryde app, including the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The Ryde app now includes significant improvements to usability and personalised trip recommendations driven by AI, all to offer a seamless booking experience with faster booking and shorter match and waiting times.

We’ve given our rider app a modern facelift, focusing on current design trends, language, and the use of AI to enhance our product further. Each design decision was thoughtfully made with our users in mind. We believe these changes will be well-received by our community, offering a better user experience for all users.

How will Ryde’s AI work?

According to Ryde, as soon as you launch the app, the AI-driven algorithm scans your past trip history and the current day, time and location, which enables the app to predict your intentions and destination.

So if you use RydePET every Sunday morning to take your dog to your pet groomer, or you prefer a shared RydePOOL on weekday evenings for your commute home, the app understands your habits and presents personalised trip recommendations that match your booking experience immediately, streamlining your Ryde experience.
