How this M’sian health centre can help workplaces thrive with corporate wellness programmes

Burnout. Brain fog. Poor metabolic health.

These are struggles that corporate employees often struggle with in today’s world.

Recognising this, RENN Asia Wellness decided to create their own corporate wellness package to better support corporate workers. After all, they believe that health drives performance.

As founder Jonathan Chew said, “Our goal: help teams thrive—not just survive.”

Tailored packages for specific needs

With corporate clients, top concerns often include chronic fatigue, poor sleep, weight gain, metabolic issues, and stress-induced conditions like anxiety or digestive problems. What’s more worrying is that many employees don’t know they’re at risk until they’re screened.

But employees of different industries might have different concerns.

Services include stress management workshops, metabolic screenings, nutrition and posture assessments, IV therapy trials, TCM acupressure sessions, ergonomic workshops and lifestyle coaching. We also provide health talks and mini wellness retreats.

As the RENN team recognised, a sedentary tech team may need mobility-focused programmes. Meanwhile, a logistics company might benefit from fatigue recovery protocols.

“We customise based on job demands and workforce health patterns,” Jonathan clarified.

To do this, RENN’s corporate packages conduct in-person biometric screenings, digital health questionnaires, and optional lab tests (e.g., inflammation, glucose metabolism). The team then interprets this data to provide a holistic wellness risk profile.

As part of these corporate wellness solutions, RENN offers both on-site services as well as programmes at its own centre. For immersive services like IV therapy or stress recovery treatments, employees come to RENN. But they also conduct on-site health fairs, talks, and posture screenings at company premises.

“We make it personal, interactive, and human,” Jonathan said about their approach. “Rather than dry talks, we do hands-on demos, experiential sessions, and even gamify health challenges. When employees feel the benefits, they stay engaged.”

What are the results?

Corporate wellness programmes are no good if they don’t actually work, though. RENN ensures efficacy by tracking engagement, absenteeism, employee feedback, biomarker improvements, and productivity shifts.

Jonathan shared that many companies that undergo their programmes see a lift in morale, energy, and focus within three to six months.

“One of our clients reported a 40% drop in MC days after integrating our stress and recovery sessions,” he pointed out. “Others note better team dynamics, motivation, and positivity after our wellness talks.”

Understanding that different companies may have different needs, they offer modular pricing—from RM3,000 for a single-day engagement to customised packages based on frequency, staff size, and services. RENN is able to work within most HR budgets.

Speaking of HR, RENN Asia Wellness’ trainers are also HRD-certified, and programmes are claimable with HRD.

To HR departments who may be looking for ways to improve their teams’ wellness, Jonathan advised: “Start small but intentional. One impactful health screening or workshop can build momentum. Partner with a wellness centre that offers both science and sincerity—your people will feel the difference.”

For companies big and small

Thus far, RENN has worked with startups, SMEs, and larger corporations.

The ideal size ranges from 30 to 500 employees—large enough to scale impact yet small enough for personal engagement.

Jonathan concludes: “A focused wellness strategy helps sustain performance, attract talent, and build a healthier workplace culture from the start.”
