Singapore has undoubtedly been a bright spot for the global startup landscape in recent years, and is home to a number of unicorns. Stellar growth in the country’s startup ecosystem over the years have led many to compare it to Silicon Valley. 

It is also strongly supported by the government, with various programmes and financial support for startups implemented throughout the years.

This year, S$24 billion will be allocated to enable local firms and workers to “emerge stronger” over the next three years. The Government will also invest in three platforms to support businesses and drive innovation.
