Junior/Senior Writer

Responsibilities and requirements:

• You will play a key role in ideating and producing compelling online content that is relevant to our readers. Beyond writing on local news and startup stories, you are required to educate, inspire and engage the mind of our readers with other article formats such as explainers, analysis and opinion articles.
• Some topics that you will be required to write on include tech giant developments, digital banking, electric vehicles, the e-commerce revolution, among others.
• You need to have a good command of the English language, and a background in journalism is preferred.
• Fresh grads/writers are welcome to apply for the junior writer role. For senior writers, a minimum writing experience of four years is required. Specialisation in business/tech journalism is a bonus.
• You need to be able to independently come up with good story ideas, and be able to write in a clear and concise manner that’s easy for readers to understand.
