Mobile messaging app LINE, which we covered extensively on Vulcan Post, has just launched a free set of stickers for its users in Singapore. The sticker pack, called ‘Singapore Moon Special’, features Moon, one of the four original LINE mascots, with various colloquial terms.
Some of the terms include “Bojio!”, “Walao Eh!!”, “Pang Gang Loh”, “Sian..” and “Kena Arrow”, terms which Singaporeans are very familiar with.
Unlike some sticker sets, the ‘Singapore Moon Special’ sticker set do not have any expiry date, showing LINE’s dedication to win the heart of its users in Singapore.
Earlier last month, it also launched its first Pop-Up Store in Singapore. Other than drawing huge crowd to the Pop-Up Store, there was also a fan who dressed up in a LINE mascot to propose to his fiancee.
A spokesperson from LINE also told tech blog e27 that the company intends to collaborate with local brands for future lucky draws, sticker packs and gift events.
