Vulcan Post has come a long way from our humble beginnings in August 2013. We’ve grown a simple technology portal into a digital lifestyle platform that keeps you in the know about up-and-coming startups and people who inspire conversations, helping us live life with a digital edge. In these two years, we’ve grown our pageviews to half a million a month, and are now working with great content partners like Yahoo! and AsiaOne.
So to commemorate this second year, we’re holding our first meet-up here in Singapore, where it all started. The Tipping Point is our way of reaching out and talking to the startups and readers that have been part of the Vulcan Post family, and embracing what it means to take a mere idea and tuning it into something more.

The Platform Collective
What started as a NTU Final Year Project has now branched out into an “informal third-party place” where four university students aim to create a community of startups in Singapore. Their goal: to encourage bartering and collaboration in the startup scene, building a shared-economy of entrepreneurs willing and able to support one another.
The Tipping Point will be held at the amazing The Refinery, the grill/bar/community space for creatives. Each ticket comes with one free drink and a great opportunity to meet other like-minded folks with the same goal — to make great ideas come true.
