In this day and age, multi-tasking is truly everything. And thanks to a partnership between Uber and Art Loft Asia, you’ll be able to get to the place you need to be, support local art, and contribute to The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (it provides fully-sponsored arts training programmes to young people from financially-disadvantaged backgrounds) — all at once. Magical, and super efficient.
Said Yaniv Goder, General Manager of Uber Singapore, “Uber is all about celebrating cities. Arts and culture is an important part of Singapore and we’re thrilled to partner with Art Loft Asia to leverage our platform to advance the local arts scene and support the creation of Singapore’s future artists.”
The collaboration will be featuring limited edition SG50 art prints by local artists, which will be displayed on uberART cars under the #ArtOnTheMove campaign. The five artists and their creations were hand-picked by the rider votes in Singapore. Fancy seeing one of these prints on a car?
“At Art Loft Asia, we’re all about doing things differently. Taking art out of its typical white box space and allowing anyone and everyone to experience art in a fun, engaging and unconventional way. This partnership with Uber allows us to do just that,” said Alexandra Eu, Co-founder of Art Loft Asia.
From July 8 till National Day (August 9), Uber riders can choose to raise funds by opting to book an uberART car using the Uber app, or by purchasing limited edition prints from the Art Loft Asia website.
