We get it, we get it. You’re sick of all the SG50 campaigns — some good, mostly not — that keep getting flung our way. And we (kinda) are too.
This year, more than ever before, we’ve seen numerous campaigns and projects being launched to extend our gratitude to Singapore’s forefathers and pioneers. And while it is only right that we do so, it won’t do us any favours to neglect the everyday Singaporean either.
You’ve seen them around: the auntie who clears the rubbish from your office table, the uncle at the hawker centre who makes you your daily kopi fix, or even that co-worker who lent you an umbrella once. And Pokka Singapore wants to give you a way to start showing your appreciation — a unique kind of SG50 campaign, if we’ve ever seen one.

Any Singaporean would be familiar with the range of drinks offered by Pokka. And to add to the experience of consumers, they’ve come up with a way for us to relay our thanks to the people around us — without actually having to say the words. It’s perfect for the introverts in our midst, and possibly a lot sweeter (quite literally) for the recipient too.
Each drink will even come with a different Thank You message:
Pokka Honey Lemon: “Thank you for contributing to the success of Singapore.”
Pokka Carrot Juice: “Thank you for helping to make Singapore a better place.”
Pokka Ice Lemon Tea: “Thank you for creating a unique Singapore.”
Pokka Jasmine Green Tea: “Thank you for creating a beautiful Singapore.”
Pokka Chrysanthemum White Tea: “Thank you for taking care of Singapore.”
To start off the grand gesture of thanks, here are the people (and things) we’d send Pokka drinks to:
“Thank you for contributing to the success of Singapore”
Because let’s face it: if we never got discovered by Sang Nila Utama, we’d have remained as just another island off the coast of Palembang.
“Thank you for helping to make Singapore a better place”
This one goes to SMRT Ltd (Feedback). You know why.
“Thank you for creating a unique Singapore”
Can you think of any creature more unique than a lion-fish mix? Nah, didn’t think so.
“Thank you for creating a beautiful Singapore”
Because who else could make a skin-tight superhero costume look this good?
“Thank you for taking care of Singapore”
Need we say more?
