Anyone like me who also suffers from mid-week crisis? Sometimes when Wednesday rolls by all I want to do is to relax in a bar with some good vibes and great company, a drink in my hand, unwinding (publishing can be a difficult mistress).
I don’t want to go too hard on a weekday, so good conversations and interesting people is a must to compensate.

They hope to take social networking to a different level, especially in conservative Malaysia.

Don’t be intimidated by Drink Entrepreneurs, as their monthly happenings are open to any entrepreneur-minded people. If you help entrepreneurs develop businesses in e-commerce, study entrepreneurship or even if you’re thinking about building a startup, then this is the scene for you.
3ciety will also be there to impart any startup wisdom that they might have, as well as fostering a more close-knit relationship with their fellow entrepreneurs. All in all, it will be a fantastic way to connect with people of similar mindset.
So What Is Movember About?

Did you know that men die on average 6 years before women do? They also experience worse longer-term health issues.
Testicular cancer rates have doubled in the last 50 years, and prostate cancer rates will double in 15. It seems that we need to have a better handlebar on the situation.
Historically, women started out on the losing end when it came down to individual rights, health and medical research included. Since feminism came about, one of the biggest game changers is in medical research for women.
As all the spotlight was being shone there, men’s health had somewhat been diluted in the pipeline and it seems to have prolonged till today.
It’s a prickly subject, but you can say that this is one way for us to establish equality.
This is where Movember comes in, to raise awareness on the issue of men’s health, particularly prostate and testicular cancer. It was started back in ’99 by a group of Aussie lads with the very important purpose of preventing men from dying too young.

What’s Going To Happen in BNGSR Tavern?
For each sale of the collaboration Movember shirts here, RM10 will go to the Movember Foundation to help fight the aforementioned prostate and testicular cancer.
If you’re attending the event however, you’ll also be getting exclusive discounts at the bar if you appear in the #DEKL merchandise, so if you’re going to get any of the merchandise, don’t shave it for later.
Besides subsidising your drink, Drink Entrepreneurs and 3ciety will also be hosting friendly matchups to help ease the conversations along.
