Popular Messaging app LINE has just announced the confirmed dates of their Singapore Pop-Up store: it will run from April 30th to May 22nd at Wisma Atria Orchard.
Besides an extensive array of official LINE merchandise available at the Pop-up Store, larger-than-life Brown and Cony character mascots will appear at the store every Friday to Sunday for photo-taking opportunities. In-store activities include a roulette game where shoppers will win LINE merchandise. To participate, shoppers must have the LINE application downloaded into their smartphones or have shared a picture of the pop-up store in their LINE group chat. Prices at the pop-up store range from SGD 14 to SGD 50 for LINE dolls of various sizes.
“With its excellent communication infrastructure and position as a technological hub, Singapore is the perfect market for LINE, which offers the most advanced mobile communication experience. We would like to use the Pop-up Store to offer Singaporean users a chance to be immersed in the ultimate LINE experience,” said Mr. Simeon Cho, General Manager of LINE Business Development Division, LINE PLUS Corporation.
As a part of LINE’s ongoing efforts to plan localized campaigns and programs, LINE Singapore will be collaborating with retailer UNIQLO in May. A limited collection of 10 adorable UT (Uniqlo graphic T-Shirt) designs will be made available for sale. Each UT purchase comes with a LINE keychain and a sticker card, or a free download coupon for a paid LINE sticker. Cony and Brown mascots will also appear at UNIQLO’s JEM and Bugis+ outlet on May 1st for a special photo-taking opportunity
LINE has seen phenomenal growth in global market, surpassing 400 million users. In Singapore, LINE is experiencing continuous growth and this can be attributed to the localized services provided.
LINE is planning for more groundbreaking local campaigns and programs exclusively designed for Singapore users for further integration into the Singaporean community.
