Gaming giant Razer has announced an official collaboration with food company Mars, which will elevate their partnership line, Respawn, to new heights with an assortment of new products in the future on June 9, 2025.
Co-founded by Singaporean entrepreneur Min-Liang Tan, Razer initially created the Respawn snack line as an April Fool’s prank before officially launching it as a range of flavoured drinks.
Subsequently, Razer collaborated with American firm Mars, launching gum and mints under the Respawn name. The current products are available in a variety of “bold flavours” such as Blackberry Vanilla and Mango Habanero mints, as well as Pomegranate Watermelon gum.
In a joint media statement, Razer and Mars said that the joint venture will see them developing “a full portfolio of snack products made for gamers, by gamers.”
“RESPAWN represents a strategic evolution in the expansion of Razer’s mission to serve the global gaming community through bold, cross-industry innovations.”
Respawn is a platform designed to redefine how gamers fuel their play, with snacks purposefully crafted to match the energy, focus and intensity of modern gameplay.

“Funny how this April Fools joke may turn into a multi-billion dollar joint venture”, Tan teased in a Facebook post today.
