Everyone deserves a pampering break once in a while, but the idea of having to go out for hours of relaxation then travelling back home again may seem counter-intuitive.

Yes, being able to immerse yourself in the carefully curated spa and massage centres is one element of the pampering experience, but some of us just want the core treatment without the bells and whistles.

For that, health and wellness providers offer mobile spas, whereby the spa and massage experience is conveniently brought to you at home (and sometimes, the office, depending on the provider and package).

Malaysia has a number of mobile spa operators as well, so here’s a non-exhaustive list of such businesses currently operating within the Klang Valley.

1. Ozmosis Health and Day Spa

Ozmosis is a health and wellness brand that operates two physical outlets, one at Ascott KLCC, and another in Bangsar.

They’ve got quite a variety of spa and massage treatments, including ones for pre-natal mothers and young children.

For their mobile spa service specifically, only their Signature Aromatherapy Body Massage is offered. This can be done at your home, in your office, or at a hotel room.

  • 120 minutes | RM450 nett per pax

The Lite Massage Galore consists of a foot massage, anti-stress massage, full body massage (aromatherapy or traditional), and an eye-relaxing massage.

The basic spa set is inclusive of fresh towels and a bed sheet. However, a portable massage bed is not included. Massage oils and products are included.

On the other hand, the Luxe Massage Galore allows you to relax and recharge your body with a combo of a foot massage, anti-stress massage, full body massage (aromatherapy or traditional), and an eye relaxing massage.

With this, a professional spa setup is inclusive of a portable bed, diffuser, music towel, and disposable items. Just as with the other two services, massage oils and products are provided.

Price

  • Classic Couple Massage (RM300 for 80 minutes);
  • Lite Massage Galore (RM128 for 90 minutes); and
  • Luxe Massage Galore (RM188 for 110 minutes).
