We thought we have covered some of the craziest dating apps over here on Vulcan Post. From dating app paktor to couple app Between, from mIRC style dating app Surf-Face to dating app in disguise Meow, we also had a piece titled 7 of the creepiest dating apps of all time.

We thought we have it all. Until we saw this new app that was create in London called 3nder (pronounced ‘Threen-der’).

The website description reads: “Threesomes made easy.”

Yes, 3nder, which is currently in development, aims to “evolve our social acceptance” of polyamory by allowing people to find sexual partners who have the same interests and desires. To avoid uncomfortable encounters with co-workers, family members or even Facebook friends, users can remain hidden to browse anonymously.

Speaking of anonymous, the creators of the app won’t publicly reveal themselves, probably worried about the backlash from the community. According to tech blog SFWeekly, by the first week of their operation, the creators claim they had already received 34,000 visits on their site and 5,000 requests for invitations.

There are still no news on when the app will be available in London or even globally. As of March 29th, the company posted an update on their Facebook page that “the development is going so well” and they are “honoured to work with such talented developers“.

The app reminded us of extramarital dating portal Ashley Madison, which earlier last year, attempted to launch its site in Singapore. Ashley Madison is a website that allows those in relationships or marriage to look for hook up partners.

The company stirred a huge controversy in Singapore last October, where netizens were smashing Ashley Madison and demanded authorities to ban it. Following that, the Singapore’s Media Development Authority (MDA) has announced that it will not allow Ashley Madison to operate in Singapore as it promotes adultery and disregards family values.

We are pretty sure 3nder would face the same outcome should they choose to launch in Singapore.
