Hello, lovely readers! Wow last week we had so many exclusive interviews and we had a lot of fun writing about those awesome people! We spoke to the founders of Shoppr, a Tinder-like app for clothes; the founders of Planyourwedding.my, which is a Malaysian website specially catered to nearlyweds and wedding vendors; the team from iMoney, a Malaysian website with the goal of helping you out with your finances; and the founders of Offpeak.my, where you can get great discounts for dining at off-peak hours!
As if those were not enough, we also had the opportunity to speak to Dione Song, the marketing director of Zalora for our Apps I Live By weekly series. And the creator of the $5 Challenge in Singapore told us about his inspiration behind the challenge and the sacrifices he willingly makes for it. Such an inspiring piece! We want to give a huge thank you to these people who gave us their time and opened their hearts to tell us their story.
In Singapore, it seems like the authorities are going the extra mile to provide tech services to the people. Some post offices are now providing 3D printing services, while MRT platforms now provide Wi-Fi service for the public. Although perhaps it might not be such a good idea seeing as Singaporeans are apparently the second most addicted to Internet in the world! Over in Malaysia, fandroids are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on the 15th of October and from what we can tell so far, that sure is one sexy smartphone indeed.
